Town have announced that Internazionale's Sixto Peralta is likely to join on a season's loan later this week. The 22-year-old ex-Italian U21 international will arrive in the next couple of days and Town are hopeful that all the details will be ready for him to be included in the squad for Saturday's game with Charlton. |

A typical pre-season friendly with a non-league side ended with Town running out comfortable 5-1 winners. The game gave Town fans their first opportunity to watch Pablo Couñago and Andy Marshall while Tommy Miller was in attendence, although not playing. |

Tommy Miller looks likely to become Town's first cash outlay of the summer if he passes a medical. Reports this afternoon say the Hartlepool player has agreed to join Town for an initial fee now thought to be £750,000. The fee will rise to £1 million depending on appearances etc. |

Another last day of the season decider and again other sides failed to do Town a favour. As with Wolves and Blackburn on the last day of the last two seasons both Charlton and Leicester failed to take points from Liverpool and Leeds. Unlike on those occasions Town failed to fulfil their side of the bargain, only managing a draw with Derby. |

Town have been linked with Norwegian striker Thorstein Helstad from Brann Bergen. Apparently Town scouts watched the striker play against Stromsgodset on Wednesday (the same night as they are also reported to have watched Magne Hoseth play elsewhere in Norway) and if they were there they couldn't have failed to be impressed. |
